Life Hacks For Working Mom’s To Get More Done – My Working Mom Routine – Mom life hacks that will help you get that working mom routine in place and help you get more done in your business while being super mom to everyone else.
Being a working mom comes with its own challenges. You will need to juggle life, family, work, clients, kids and the rest of the world. But there are ways I suggest you can make it easier on yourself.
CAN YOU GET UP EARLY? – Some working moms know that it can be nigh on impossible to get some extra time in the morning. The instant your eyes are awake your children can sense it and they are already at the door or jumping up and down on your head. However, if you can steal an hour in the morning before they wake up then do so.
FEED YOURSELF – You need to take care of yourself to set yourself up for the day. Grab some water, and make sure to feed yourself. Try and take on liquids and some form of protein to keep you fuelled for longer into the morning.
START A LOAD OF LAUNDRY – I know as a working mom that I always have some washing to do somewhere. It piles up on you and if you can get one load out of the way every day it soon becomes something you never have issues with, even if you never get to put it away…. but its still clean and ready to go.
DO A CHORE IN THE MORNING – It doesn’t have to be a huge chore but as a working mom any chance you get to tick off a task on autopilot while the kids are still around will help you make your life easier to mange later in the day.
GET YOURSELF READY WHEN YOU GET YOUR KIDS READY – As a working mom you can sometimes get trapped in the cycle of working in mom clothes. You know those sweatpants or that tshirt as its easier to be in that around the kids. Well if you got yourself ready as if you had a job in a normal office you will always be ready should you need to go out or get a task down outside the mom clothes.
DO YOUR IMPORTANT THING FIRST – If your important hardest task is out of the way then you know its done even if your kids need you later.
MAKE TIME FOR LUNCH – As a working mom it can be so easy to work and eat on the go. But if you can give yourself a 20-30mins lunch break to step away from that desk or that laptop it will give you some peace of mind and reduce burn out. Maybe even lunch and learn.
