ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Twice Upon a Time is a local consignment store focused on children, baby and meternity clothes, toys, accessories, and furniture. The store was bought by Alshya Johnson in May 2016.

Alyshia's goal with her social media is to bring awareness to new merchandise, get consignment and promote sales and promotions. She also wants to get rid of her outdated and unrelated inventory she inherited from the previous owners.

Even with her over 3,400 followers at the time of this case study, customers never saw posts and didn't even know if they were still open. Her competition is a local consignment sale that happens twice a year that takes away a significant amount of business from her shop which is year round.

HOW ALL-IN-ONE SOCIAL MEDIA HELPED

Starting in September, All-In-One started working with Twice Upon A Time by doing daily posts, sharing local activities and fun family blogs with activities and tips to help busy parents. Alysha also sent All-In-One pictures of her newest inventory to post so that customers could see what kind of merchandise was for sale in her store.

Alysha also had a big sale planned for September to get rid of her old and irrelevant (adult clothing) inventory. She hosted a 3-Day Quarter Sale.

All-In-One create a graphic to promote her Quarter Sale as part of her 5 monthly custom graphics and made that graphic a Promoted Post with a $15 budget that ran for 5 days; 2 days before the sale and the 3 days of the sale. For the daily posts through the sale, we posted reminders and teasers of products that were available.

The response for her sales was astronomical!

In just just 24 hours of posting their Promoted Post, there were over 4,300 people reached through paid and organic reach!

On the day of the sale, Alysha said “I seriously undervalued the quarter. Not only did I  have a line that wrapped around my entire store, but there was no parking on all four  sides of my building and in just one day we made more money than we do in a week.”    The final results of her Promoted Post reached over 14,000 people, getting 217 Likes  and 179 Shares. Her sales for that weekend were 4x that of her average weekend.
